More than 400 AG churches in 20 AG districts have participated in the Acts 2 Journey, a one-year process to a healthier church sponsored by the Healthy Church Network. About 95 percent of pastors, whose churches have completed Acts 2, say they feel better equipped to lead their congregations, and 90 percent say their leadership team relationships have grown stronger.
"Just do it! No matter at what stage your congregation is now, the Acts 2 Journey will greatly benefit your church and your city," says Pastor Davis. He has been an AG pastor since 1982 and the senior pastor at Rock Solid Church in Conway, Ark., since 2008.
Rock Solid Church was established in the 1930s as First Assembly of God. In the early 2000s the church began to experience growth, and in 2007 they relocated to a new facility. In summer 2012, Pastor Davis and church leaders decided to participate in Acts 2.

"We believe God has given the church a new vision for discipleship and reaching the lost and hurting," says Davis. "As a result of our participation in Acts 2, the church has benefited by having a clear focus for ministry, and we are seeing people work together as one to see the kingdom of God advance. I would say to any pastor and church considering Acts 2, 'Take the time, make the investment and see what God wants to do through you.'"
